Reading Meme - Day Twelve

A book you’ve read more than twice

Sheesh, I don’t think I’ve read a book more than twice lately.  My TBR piles are too big to read anything twice let alone more than twice.  Although I did re-read one of my favorites series I discovered back in middle school a few months back.  Hell, come to think of it maybe I did read it more than once.  It was back in the day though but, who cares about minor details, right?

I am not ashamed to say that I was a total L. J. Smith fan girl back in the day (I was also a huge Christopher Pike fan girl but, that’s a story for another post).  Her Secret Circle series and Vampire Diaries series are probably what got me started on the road toward Urban Fantasy and Paranormal Romance.  I’ve always been fascinated with things that go bump in the night and L. J. Smith provided me with my fix.  Thank you Ms. Smith for introducing me to the supernatural goodness.

  1. I can't remember the last book I read more than twice either .. TWICE?!

And the guy on the re-issue cover will be star in my next nightmare I'm pretty sure

  2. LMAO!! He is kinda Creepy McCreeperson huh?

  3. Oh I have a handful of books that I must read at least once a year. Something Borrowed and Blue from Emily Giffin, The Queens of Woodlawn Avenue by Regina Hale Sutherland, and Invitation to Provence by Elizabeth Adler. I just melt when I read these faves!

  4. I remember you mentioning Something Borrowed and Blue. I'll have to keep an eye out for it and give it a try. =)

  5. I am soooo behind on this meme already!

I never knew of L.J. Smith until the Vampire Diaries came back recently. How did I miss her before?

Also, I love the two Emily Giffin books. My fave meme kiss will come from Blue. Just FYI :)

  6. LOL...if I wasn't being so strict with myself I'd probably be way behind too.

Really? That's a shame. She's got some good stuff out there.

Looks like I need to get on this Blue thing STAT.

  7. Read Borrowed first! Same characters, continuing storyline.
