Reading Meme - Day Twenty-One & Twenty-Two

Favorite fictional romantic relationship (Day Twenty-One)

Hmm….I think I’m going to go with:

MAGGIE AND MALONE from

catchoftheday

I’m sure you figured they’re one of many favorite romantic relationships.  What?  Don’t look so shocked guys.  It’s not always about fight scenes and end of the world scenarios.  I have been known to read contemporary romances every now and again.  Besides what’s not to like about a girl who has the tendency to stick her foot in her mouth and a silent, broody lobsterman?

Shout out to Jen over at My Book Addiction for bringing this book to my attention.  It led to our Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is Challenge.  Thanks Jen.  By the way, I’m still waiting for a rematch.  Winking smile

Who are some of your favorite couples?

Favorite ending/climax (Day Twenty-Two)

Like the question above, this one has several possible answers but, I think I’ll stick to a recent read and go with:

afterlife

Not only did it have an intense climax but, I thought it had a really good ending.  A tad bittersweet one but, good nonetheless.

What are some of your favorite endings/climaxes?  *snort*

  1. I'm so far behind on this meme it's pathetic :)

I finally got a copy of Kitty and the Midnight Hour if you still wanna use that one! If not, I'm sure we can work something out.

BTW, good pick for The Kiss. I had forgotten about that one!

  2. Jen, I absolutely love this idea of putting up different questions for people to respond to! I might have to go back through and answer some of the others!

As for favorite Romantic Couple...that's a hard one but I will go with a recent read and say Spade and Denise from Jeaniene Forst's "First Drop of Chrimson"

As for favorite endings/climaxes I'd go with another recent read with Destined for an Early Grave, Jeaniene Frosts Night Huntress Novel #4. That was a great book and kept me into it the entire time!

  3. @Jen - Now, now no need to be so harsh my dear. It's friggin' hard to sit down and come up with some of these answers.

Woot woot. That'll be a good one. If not I'm sure we'll come up with something. Because that's what we do. ;-)

LOL...I figured you'd appreciate that one.

@Deanna - Wecome back! Although I'd love to take credit for the questions I actually saw the meme over at On a Pale Star and thought it be a fun challenge. Feel free to through all the ones you want. I'd love to see what answers you come up with. =)

Hmm...both your answers have to do with Jeaniene Frost books. I see what you're trying to say without saying it Deanna. ;-) Looks like I'll be playing a lot of catch up in 2011.

  4. LOL, I absolutely love her books! She has 6 out right now the four from the night huntress series and two spin offs. Her 5th book comes out in February and it can't get here soon enough! :-D They are pretty fast reads too.

I don't know about you but I have that "So many books, so little time" feeling going on right now. So many of my blog friends suggest wonderful books but I just feel like I can't catch up with them all! I guess in the long run, this is a good problem to have right?!

  5. I hear great things about her books. And it's not for lack of trying to read her stuff because I have book 1 from each series. So really I should have no excuse but, it's like you said, 'So many books, so little time'. Definitely a good problem to have but, it's frustrating sometimes because I always feel like I'm behind. One of these days mark my words! We should start a support group. LOL!!

  6. LMAO! I completely agree. I always feel stressed out when it comes to how many amazing books are out there and how I can only focus on one book at a time. I think a support group sounds wonderful!!!! :-D
