Yet Another Musical Interlude

I've fallen behind on my reading so there won't be a book review today.  Sometimes it feels like I take a step forward and then end up having to take two steps back.  I'm not going to sweat it though.  For one, I'm still posting something and for two, I get to share some of my favorite music with you guys.  It's about keeping it positive for the 2011 people and that's what I aim to do.  So seeing as it's hump day and all, I figured I'd feature a band with a hot front man.  I give you 30 Seconds to Mars and their delicious front man Jared Leto.

He's come a long way from My So Called Life, eh?  I don't know about you guys but, I like him better as a rock star.  I'm just sayin'...

  1. I love the song posts Jen! I love how you also like Rock/Punk Rock music...I normally listen to Country but I have a weakness for rockers and their music! Great choice.

    Happy hump day!

    (BTW...how's shadowfever going??)

  2. Thanks Deanna! Glad you're diggin' the song selections. Believe it or not I've been known to listen to a country tune or two. Next time I have to post a musical interlude I'll throw in one of my favorite country songs. ;)

Duuuuude.....I am ashamed to admit this but I haven't been able to crack it open yet. *looks down and shoes and kicks rocks* I'm hoping to get started tonight.

  5. A bit grundgy yes - but isn't that what the 90's was all about?!

There are some really good bands out now, but most of it can't touch the awesomeness of the 90's Rock/Grundge scene :) That's one of my fave playlists on my iPod.

  6. Very true. And you're right, most of the crap out now can't touch 90's rock.
