Tune in Tuesdays

Tune in Tuesdays

This weekly meme is hosted by Ginger at GReads and is meant to showcase my other passion: music.  Each week you can post an old or new song so that it gains more interest or is discovered by new ears.  So let's help Ginger spread our love of music.  Oh and don't forget to submit a link to your post over on Ginger’s site by clicking on the banner.

Welcome to the Classic Rock edition of Tune in Tuesday.  I blame my Dad for my love of Classic Rock.  It’s pretty much the only genre he listens to so it’s a good thing that I took a liking to it early on.  So here are some of my fave Classic Rock tunes.  Enjoy!

I Put A Spell On You by Creedence Clearwater Revival

Since I’ve Been Loving You by Led Zeppelin

Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd

  1. I like your choices, Jen. My faves in classic rock are Journey and Survivor bands. I think some of the classic rockers were sexier than those performing now. Somehow Maroon5 and Train just are not that sexy.

  2. Thanks Dot! I love me some Journey too. I have to agree with you on the sexiness factor. They just had a certain oomph factor. Thanks for stopping by!

  4. Thanks Tee! Moderation is definitely key. I mean I'm all for a slammin' guitar solo but, it'd get old if I had to hear it ALL day long. You're very welcome! Thanks for stopping by!

  5. To answer the question you left on my blog, yes! Chelsea, Chelsea was a song written for Chelsea on Dancing With The Stars so you have heard The Summer Set before! Great song choices on your part! I love me some classic rock. Simple Man is an awesome tune.

  6. Thanks for stoppin' by Katelyn! I thought the song sounded familiar. It's super catchy.

Thank ya ma'am. Simple Man is probably one of my all time favorite songs. It reminds me of what my grandma taught us growing up. It's all about keeping it simple.
