I Have a Special Announcement...

You guys are looking at the newest member of the Book Bloggers Anonymous Book Club hosted over on Goodreads!  I’ll be giving the other moderators a hand with monthly book discussions, giveaways and all that fun stuff.  I’m excited about this new venture.  Click on the banner for more details or if you’re interested in joining.  You know I’d love to have ya.  ;-)  On that note I’d like to take a moment to go ahead and announce the events that are going on this month.

The September read is Slave to Sensation by Nalini Singh.

(Psst…I just finished it on Sunday and all I can say is if you haven’t read it yet, WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU WAITING FOR?)

They also have a Shifters Reading Challenge going on until December.  They’re currently reading Pride which is book 3 in the series.
(Unfortunately, I didn’t find out about this challenge in time so I’m opting out until the next challenge starts.)

But wait!  That’s not all!  Steph over at Paper Cut Reviews is hosting a fab contest in association with this month’s book club selection.  The lovely Nalini Singh has donated a signed copy of Archangel’s Consort (Book 3 in the Guild Hunter series) to be given away!  Woot woot!  In addition to that, Steph is also offering another Nalini Singh book to be chosen by a second winner.  Yup, you read that right.  There’s going to be two winners and they’ll each be walking away with excellent books from an amazing author.  So head on over to Steph’s site and sign up.

  1. Hey Jen! We are all so happy to have you on board! =)

  2. Congratulations Jen! I have Slave to Sensation sitting on my shelf right now. But I know if I read it I won't want to stop until I have the rest of the series read...and that's sad because I don't have all the books bought yet. I'll have to put that one off till later. But I'm definitely going to check out the fun monthly events you all will be hosting! :-D

  3. Welcome to BBA Jen, we are glad to have you join us :-D

Glad you enjoyed September's book. (The challenge goes through December, so you don't have to wait, I read the first 3 books in about a week and will resume the series after my exam, you can read them whenever you have time and jopin the discussion later).

  4. SEriously?!? I JUST picked up Slave of Sensation this morning and started it. What perfect timing!! Congratulations on the new job, Jen!! smiles...

  5. @Steph - Thanks Steph! I'm excited to be on board. =)

@D - Thanks for your support D! have to read it! Even if you don't have the rest. There's no crazy cliff hanger or anything so you'll be fine. Trust me! Lucas is sooo worth it!

@Stella - Thanks Stella! I'm glad to be part of the BBA team. The book was fantastic! Lucas is one not slice of man! ;-) Hmm...I just bought the first book during the Borders sales and my friend has the rest of the series. I think I may just take you up on that offer.

@Christi - Awesome timing indeed! It's such a good read. You have to tell me what you think once your done. =)
