Plinky Question of the Day

The Plinky Question of the Day is a weekly feature I added to the blog to get to know you guys better and vice versa.  Sometimes the questions will deal with books or reading but, most of the time they won’t.  Because, let’s face it, there’s more to us than what we read.

What old shows do you wish you could still watch on TV?

This one turned out to be a little harder than I anticipated.  One, because I’m a huge fan of watching TV and two, because I’m indecisive.  So after going back and forth with myself like a crazy person here’s what I decided to go with.  (On a side note, some of these may have reruns still airing but, that doesn’t count because to me it’s not the same.)

In first place we have Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Sarah Michelle Gellar, David Boreanaz and James Marsters.  ‘Nough said.

Second place goes to Charmed

I’ve always loved the whole witchcraft angle.  I loved The Craft so naturally I was drawn to this show.  That and I love me some Alyssa Milano.

Third place is a tie between Dawson’s Creek and 90210 (the original)

Dawson's Creek 90210

I blame Joshua Jackson and Luke Perry.

How about you guys?  What old shows do you wish you could still watch on TV?

  1. Let me take it back with 'The Wonder Years'. Ha!

  2. @Godfree - Wow honey. You just totally dated yourself. ;-)

  3. Rome... I loved that show! I really liked The Event too, I was surprised when that got cancelled.

  4. @The Avid Reader - I don't think I've ever heard of Rome. The Event was the one with Jason Ritter right?

  5. Yes Charmed! Man I miss that show.

    My choice: Veronica Mars!
I still constantly miss that show.

  6. @Juju - I have to check out that show. I didn't watch it when it was on air.

  7. Another fantastic question! Um...I'd say Buffy and Angel...also Roswell was another one I loved to watch that stopped being aired.

Ok...and my biggest confession So Weird from the Disney Channel! I watched every episode of that damn show and I do really miss it! :-(

  8. @D - I loved me some Roswell too. I blame it for my love of all things Dido. LOL! Never heard of So Weird. I'll have to check it out to see why you're soo attached. ;-)
